Occasionally nature treats us with remarkably special artistic displays in the growth pattern of a tree. These selective treasures could be related to: a unique grain pattern or figure, some malformation of development creating a burl, or simply the tree’s ability to grow, unmarred, to spectacularly wide diameters as it reaches the peak of its maturity. Horizon Wood Products, a company with a successful history of providing high quality wood products since 1976, recognized long ago that in the course of their daily production they occasionally run across these “too-good-to-be-true” specimens.
Not wanting nature’s treasures to go unnoticed, Horizon decided to separate them from their routine production and move them into the Evolutions Division where they can get their due recognition and become part of some noteworthy project.
