AMERICAN BLACK CHERRY - set # 224158
This superior log originated in the Alleghney Plateau of Northwestern Pennslyvania, an area recognized to be the country's "top shelf" environment for growing cherry. Wood this good almost HAD to grow there .... the NW corner of PA seems to provide nearly absolute perfect conditions for good, clear, sound, unblemished Black Cherry growth that can not be duplicated anywhere else!
We are excited to be able to offer such a nice collection.

This georgous log has ZERO defects! NO knots. NO loose rings. NO long cracks.
It's just great wood!!
A beautiful 10 feet length of log with very little gum and minimal sap. WOW!

Two of the center boards have been cut in two lengthwise in order to remove pith. The resulting edge boards contain the same exceptional quality as the rest of the log.
