Very nice unsteamed walnut. It has great color, nice straight grain and is beautifully clear! The three length reductions (pieces 2,4, and 8) are due to two end checks and one knot. The measurements represent 100% clear wood. Beautiful project set; lots of perfectly vertical rift and quartersawn wood, and 2 wider flitches of great flatsawn wood. |
