Special Notes:

Nice character set of wide walnut. These pieces are available for individual sale and could be perfect for character tops. All pieces have some wild figure and grain due to the large limb crotch on one end of the log. There are some center knots in each piece, along with nice clear sections of straight grain walnut. There is a large hollow knot through a few of the pieces. This could be a great time to get creative and either fill the hole with something interesting, or else leave the hole empty and accent the natural defect. Piece number 5 does have a width reduction due to some pith on the back face of the flitch which continues up around both sides of the crotch figure. Set # 210402A is a 3 piece bookmatched set which comes from the same log as this set. That half of the log was defect free and is being sold as a complete set.
