Special Notes: |
This is a great figured Ash log which has been steamed to create an even light brown color. This clean set has minimal defects and offers some great wide widths.The crazy figure in this set is what draws the attention. On the flatsawn areas the grain freely swirls and ripples in open oval patterns, on the rift and quartsawn pieces the grain is laid on it's side and creates some really cool ribbon patterns.The wide pieces have the flatsawn figure in the center of the flitch which morphs into the flowing waves of the rift sawn figure.Overall a fantastic set!!! |
