Very cool set of figured maple with heavy heartwood. This log has some great figure throughout the entire log. And check out the color contrast between the heartwood and sapwood on piece 5 which has been surfaced to show the true color. This contrast could be utilized in the design of a piece of furniture. Natural two-tone.There are a few central knots and pith on the back of piece 6 which receive a width reduction.
