Special Notes: |
This is a sequencially sawn European Cherry log. European cherry has some basic differences from American Black Cherry, it is a lighter rose color with more color variation, there is no gum, the wood does not darken over time. There is some color striping, which is characteristic of the species. This set is made of the entire log, cut consecutively. All of the pieces are bookmatched. Very nice set of a species which is a rare find in American forests!! |
