Special Notes: |
Great White Oak log sawn sequentially. This log has had the center flitches pulled, which removed the quartersawn material, but also much of the defect in the set as well. Here are 11 piece sequentially sawn, starting from the outer cut which has some interesting grain pattern, to the beautiful cathedrals of the flatsawn, to the uniform grain in the riftsawn pieces.The log does have some taper, but overall this is a great log. Perfectly straight and with minimal knots or other defects. |
