How supplied
The items listed here are available as entire sets. In order to insure the consistency required for a spectacular project or application, Horizon makes painstaking efforts to keep the flitches of each individual log cohesive. Because of this special handling, Horizon is reluctant to sell individual pieces separated from a set. Please inquire about the occasional exception to the rule.
Drying
Unless otherwise noted in the description, all items are kiln dried.
Measurements
Measurements are made in either Metric or English systems and expressed in either cubic meters or board footage.
- Length and width measurements are recorded in the English System using inches and feet.
- Thickness is recorded using typical NHLA rule measurement in quarter inches.
- Listings for specialty items containing specific, unique grain patterns (as can be found in the crotches) will contain measurements both for the dimensions of the patterned area and dimensions for the overall size of the piece.
