"I couldn't believe that wood! Those 8/4 slabs are, without a doubt, the nicest pieces of wood I have ever seen..... I never believed a ten footer that wide could be so straight & flat ..... you did a fantastic job picking for me. I was feeling a little nervous just going on digital photos but when I saw those wide 4/4 pieces in person, and laid out that crotch wood, you could have heard me hollering thanks all the way down there.....

The boards arrived 15 mins ago and they are superb, even better in person.
I knew they were quarter sawn and figured, but I didn't realize they were sequence matched as well!
Its going to be difficult to actually cut into them & use them.

"One of the very interesting products I make, The Cherner Chair, is currently using wood from Horizon. You can review the Cherner arm chair here. It is the arm that is made from Horizon products. Currently it is made in Beech, but Horizon also has some Walnut on the way to me for this part. It is actually a very difficult part to make, and requires absolutely clear Walnut or Beech to create the extreme bends."
